I think this goes along with knowing your market and the type of people who are most likely to read your blog.

If they expect conversation, give them conversation.  If they expect proper form, then give them proper form.

Not matching your writing style to your market could mean losing your readership rather quickly.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m glad you mentioned tips are not rules. I think it&#039;s important to remember that. There is always really great advice out there, but it&#039;s not always prudent to include every nugget of suggestion in your post.</description>
