Blogsessive is a Technorati Top 10K Blog

I’m sure that those of you who have been following my posts for a while, know that I’m a pretty passionate blogger, enthusiastic and always looking to try new things and experiment.

I take pride in what I do since it’s what I love to do and wouldn’t want to do anything else, even more whenever my experiments and efforts are successful.

Today, Blogsessive hit another milestone in its journey in the blogosphere. This happened: Technorati Top 10K Blog

According to Technorati, Blogsessive has become one of the top 10.000 blogs in their system, and considering the millions of blogs they watch, that’s a huge achievement!

My friends, thank you! It would have not been possible without your loyalty and friendship!

  • Very awesome achievement. I haven’t really used Technorati that much. I have my blog submitted, but I really don’t know what to do from there except wait for people to link to me.

  • That’s great to hear! It’s always nice to see passion pay off, and breaking into the top 10K is no small feat.

    Now that you’re Internet famous though, any thought to doing a post on suggestions for others to break into the top 10K? ;)

  • Alex, shi, Cory, thank you all for your words.

    Cory, the posts I’ve done in the past are the results of two things:
    * Things I already knew to be working;
    * Things I’ve tried on Blogsessive, and after they proved good ideas, I shared them with you.

    So, basically, looking back in the archive, would make a good compilation of tips, but you’re right.

    A post to sum up and maybe direct readers back to those more in depth posts when needed, would be good. Thanks for the suggestion!

  • Congratulations Alex, you really deserved it! You get one beer for this performance when I see you! :D

    Keep up the excellent work!

  • Alex, you rock. What’s the next goal? 500 subscribers? :)

  • Hehe, you were right! Good for you, Alex! We’ll drink to that! ;)

  • Alina, thanks, offer accepted!

    Tudi, as you probably see, I talk about my goals once they happen. It’s an obvious thing that bloggers look for more exposure, out of so many reasons. So, numbers like this one are simply milestones.

    If you ask me for a goal, that is to provide better quality posts across all my categories, and quality tools, even better than Simple Balance.

    It goes like this:
    1. I offer content to my community;
    2. My community gives me back a reason to continue;
    3. With the community support I keep developing new, useful stuff to give back;
    4. And we’re back to number one.

    That’s my goal.

    Adrian, thanks man, we’ll have a non-alcoholic drink to that. I’m with my bike. :)

  • This is a great thing for your blog, because advertisers see you in another way now (from my own experience) and maybe you’ll get some traffic from Technorati. Congratulations! I also went to see my rank and I am surprised of the change, from 3k to 6k :( . I think they’ve changed the algorithm or something like that.

  • Congrats Alex or I should say, congrats to us as I just broke the top 10K a couple of days ago.

    Judging by your blog design, it’d be wrong for me to assume that you’re not passionate in what you are doing. Your eye for details is commendable.

    All the best, buddy. Let’s work toward the top 5K.

    Yan

  • Hearty Congrats,

    That’s a great achievement in a short period of time.

  • Cosmin, Yan & TJ, thank you all for celebrating with me this milestone and for reading Blogsessive.

  • Congrats on the achievement! You inspired me to check ours (I don’t think I’ve checked before) and I was shocked to see that we’re in the top 2,000 (1,778)! Awesome.

    Keep on blogging high quality work and you’ll be there soon!

    Now to make the top 1,000 . . .
