Blogsessive Joins BuySellAds Network
As you have seen, there hasn’t been much advertising on Blogsessive since I’ve launched the blog. That’s mainly because I haven’t found the right network to manage the ads served.
Today, following Kevin Muldoon’s recommendation, I’ve decided to give BuySellAds a spin and since it’s in beta stage (members are being approved based on certain criteria), I’ll also be able to share my experience with you.
Account creation and marketplace
Since I have a thing for design, I have to say that their site looks great and it’s very easy to navigate.
Creating an account is pretty simple and it should not be a problem for anyone. Upon creating an account, you will receive an activation email, and from this point you can start adding websites or buying advertising space.
Each website details page in the marketplace will show information on Alexa, Compete and Technorati Ranks, del.icio.us bookmarks, pagerank and Yahoo! inbound links to help buyer decide.
If you want to sell advertising space, adding a website is very easy. You’ll have to fill in a 2-step form with your website’s information: URL, description, tags, advertising zone name, banner size and price, number of banners and automatic/manual banner approval.
After submitting this information, you will be provided with a small script to install on your blog.
After that, everything gets on auto-pilot and all you have to do is take care of your blog’s content, in order to attract more traffic, and therefore, more advertisers.
You get 75%
The good part is that BuySellAds, only keeps 25% out of the sold banner’s price, unlike many other services of this type.
I’ll share more about my experience on BuySellAds in time, but until then, if you’re interested in buying advertising space on Blogsessive, check out the profile.

That’s so funny, cause today I just bought my first 125×125 through BSA. I think my blog is not yet ready for BSA, but I will do some buying in the meantime and come back with feedback too.
Yeah I’ve really been impressed with the setup so far. I think once they promote it more it will be a very good option for blog owners.
I’ve been using BSA on my sites for a couple of months now, and it’s been great.
There have been a couple of minor hiccups, but the team is very responsive and welcome any feedback you may have.
