  • Alex, I’m always amazed by all the domain names you find. They are all great, but some of them are priceless! DesignersFuse.com? I bet this one won’t stay available for long.

  • I thought DesignersFuse.com was pretty good too. Awesome list as always.

  • Alex,
I must say I’ve never seen this done. I applaud you for sharing your creativity like this. I guess I’m a little bit selfish, when I come up with a good domain name I usually register them myself. Again, very nice of you to share these.

  • Hey guys, thanks for stopping and your kind words.

Ryan, truly valuable domains are a rare find today. I could probably register some of these and sell them (undeveloped) for a few bucks, probably low $XX, but what’s the point?

Some might do a better job than me developing them and putting out amazing content.

I already have quite a big collection of domain names, most of them with plans to develop, so I just can’t take on more names if I still want to keep focus on more important things.

  • fantastic domains as always! Thanks for sharing them…

  • Good domain names. It´s hard to find any decent .com names these days. How do you come up with them?

  • It’s very cool for you to share your finds. Several years ago I had a section on the Extreme Ezine where I did the exact same thing. The only problem was it can be addicting to keep searching for great dot coms. I ended up buying over a hundred of them myself. I don’t know why I dropped the section. Probably one of my many ‘time cutting’ measures. Don’t tell anyone but I still find myself searching for another perfect domain when no one is looking ;) It’s great that you are willing to share yours. I think you made my newest cool blog links.

  • I’d recommend being careful about naming your site after a popular site like ‘Twitter’. You don’t want lawyers at your door later on insisting you hand over your domain on a trademark dispute. Just ask anyone who has ‘bay’ in their domain name.

  • Tom -StandOutBlogger.com, thanks!

Tom At The Home Business Archive, it’s mostly mental, trial and error! No software, just name ideas.

Brian, thanks for your kind words. I too had that rush of “buying” everything, and once in a while I get it too. Sometimes I don’t and I’m sorry after. :) Shared one amazing name here that got registered in like 2 minutes. I’m still having second thoughts. But hey, how many things can one handle at the same time!? Thanks for stopping by.

Frank, you have a valid point, but it very much depends on what you do with the domain too. There are quite a few “Twitter” domains out there, and as long as they create awareness for the main app, it should be fine. When you turn them into money making machines, that’s when you might get into legal trouble. Although it’s not exactly fair using those names, in some cases it’s still a gray area.

“Bay” is a totally different subject, and they are hunting down mostly “eBay” domains, not “bay”.

  • Great find, I really like how you shared it on your blog instead of buying them and trying to sell them on… like most people do…
